Wendy Harcourt is a feminist activist researcher based in Rome, Italy. Her four edited books, many essays, articles and strategic reports have helped shape transnational feminist engagement in development.
She is Editor of the journal Development and Senior Advisor at the Society for International Development. Over the last two decades she has built up the journal to be one of the most honest and critical publications on
development. She has been involved in transnational women’s movements since her student days and is an active member of Women in Development Europe.
